About the Final Apps Journal
We build Shopify apps. This is where we explain what we've learned.
Final Apps makes apps for Shopify merchants, and more than 5,000 stores use them. Building them means spending our days inside the same problems merchants have: pages Google won't index, wholesale orders that arrive by email, invoices made by hand, products without proper SKUs. This journal is where we write those solutions down, so you can use them whether or not you use our apps.
What we write about:
- SEO & AI Search: getting found on Google and in AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
- Automation: Shopify Flow, automatic emails and invoices, and other work you can take off your plate.
- B2B & Wholesale: selling to trade customers without the spreadsheets and back-and-forth.
- Conversion: testing pages and changes so you know what actually sells more.
- Retail & Inventory: SKUs, barcodes, QR codes and running a physical store alongside your online one.
- Growth: what to fix first, and where to spend your time and budget.
- News: Latest news, releases of apps etc.
How we write:
- Steps you can follow. Every guide is written for your own Shopify admin, with the exact settings and screens.
- We test before we publish.
- We say when it's our app. If a post is about a problem one of our apps solves, the app is named and shown under the post. The free method comes first wherever there is one.
- We keep posts current. Shopify changes often. When we revise a post, the date at the top shows when.
Who writes it:
The articles are written by the Final Apps team: [the Shopify developers and designers who build our apps].
